Staff Product Manager (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $215,000–$268,000 in San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle; $200,000–$250,000 elsewhere in the United States. Equity and bonus are also offered.

Deepgram develops voice AI models and real-time APIs for speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and production voice agents, and is expanding into AI applications for knowledge workers and consumers.

What you will do

• Define the strategy, positioning, target users, and business model for Deepgram’s AI application product line.
• Own the roadmap, prioritization, tradeoffs, and delivery direction from existing applications through future products.
• Build the business across acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization, using metrics and profitability targets.
• Represent the product with customers and partners and manage delivery commitments.
• Establish a product operating rhythm based on hypotheses, shipped changes, measurement, and new bets.
• Partner with research, engineering, design, and marketing while communicating through prototypes, mockups, and wireframes.

Requirements

• Shipped a consumer or prosumer product that users paid for, with ownership of its funnel and business outcomes.
• Defined and launched a zero-to-one product adopted by real users.
• Personally shipped AI functionality in end-user applications and demonstrated strong AI product judgment.
• Strong product management judgment, technical depth, and ability to reason about models, latency, privacy, and platform tradeoffs.
• Ability to prototype, understand user research and testing, evaluate metrics critically, and communicate decisions clearly to executives.
• Must be based in the United States because the role is listed as USA - Remote.

Nice to have

• Experience building native desktop or mobile applications for Windows, macOS, or iOS.
• Experience distributing products through partners or on another company’s platform.
• Experience with voice, audio, or real-time systems.
• Experience in a company with both self-serve and enterprise motions.
