Health Benefit Rep (Jamaica, Queens)

Location: Field based in Queens, New York, primarily Jamaica and South Queens. The role is listed as Remote-NY and requires evening and weekend work. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Pay range: $23.23–$39.61 per hour.

What you will do

• Educate consumers about and assist with enrollment in NY State of Health Marketplace programs, including Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, Qualified Health Plans, and HARP.
• Explain eligibility, premium tax credits, cost-sharing reductions, plan benefits, deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, and Marketplace metal tiers.
• Support document submission, renewals, recertifications, premium payments, and timely application follow-up.
• Teach members to use Fidelis digital tools, including the member portal and mobile app.
• Conduct public education presentations, ACA forums, workshops, and community events.
• Maintain accurate applicant and activity records in dashboards and the required CRM while protecting confidential health information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills and prior public speaking experience.
• Two or more years of experience in managed care, sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must complete NY State of Health-approved training and annual Marketplace Facilitated Enroller recertification requirements.
• Driver’s license preferred for NYC counties and mandatory for non-NYC counties.

• Bilingual Spanish proficiency.
