What you will do

• Lead robotics teams and support new plant launches in body shop and General Assembly environments.
• Manage the design, integration, and installation of equipment and tools at strategic supplier sites and internal plants.
• Coordinate robot ordering, delivery, and installation to meet program timing milestones.
• Support plant production during catastrophic failures and manage spare parts lists for launch processes.
• Provide technical direction to less experienced controls engineers and report project status to senior management.
• Ensure continuous improvement of equipment and tools for high-quality part production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Three years of experience as a Robotic Lead Project Engineer or related role.
• Three years of experience with robotic programming standards, bodyshop processing, and troubleshooting.
• One year of experience with Fanuc Robots, SCA Schucker Dispense Equipment, and General Assembly standards.
• Ability to travel 25%-50% to client sites nationwide.
