What you will do

• Provide regional technical expertise for control systems including conveyors, sortation, scanners, and robotics.
• Lead reactive support for complex downtime events, performing root cause analysis and remediation.
• Collaborate with onsite teams to ensure controls standard work and documentation are consistently applied.
• Manage regional controls condition assessments and lifecycle planning for automation upgrades.
• Monitor network performance indicators like uptime and MTBF to implement corrective actions.
• Lead commissioning readiness and acceptance testing for new equipment launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in PLC-based controls development and troubleshooting in automated environments.
• Strong background in Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms, HMI creation, and industrial networking.
• Understanding of WMS/WCS/WES integrations and field device interfaces.
• Ability to travel 25% to 40% regionally and participate in rotational on-call support.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial robotics, ASRS systems, or goods-to-person automation.
• Background working for a leading industrial automation or material handling system integrator.
• Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).
