What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to report on data and ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy.
• Calculate traditional (PMPM, utilization) and novel (program engagement, capitation) healthcare metrics from claims and product data.
• Design, develop, and maintain algorithms and data models using SQL and dbt.
• Create informative visualizations and dashboards using Looker to drive stakeholder decision-making.
• Validate regular claims and eligibility data refreshes.
• Create documentation and training materials for technical and non-technical users.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, analytics engineering, or medical economics.
• Deep familiarity with healthcare claims and eligibility data.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Proficiency with BI/reporting tools such as Looker or Tableau.
• Excellent communication abilities to work with diverse technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with dbt and templated SQL.
• Familiarity with clinical healthcare data sources and standards (ADT, EHR, Labs, FHIR, USCDI, etc.).
• Experience with statistical analysis software like Python/pandas or R.
