What you will do

• Design and build hirify.global's internal agentic framework, integrating tools like LangChain, LangSmith, and ADK.
• Develop evaluation frameworks and quality metrics for AI agents, including regression detection and experimentation infrastructure.
• Lead and mentor a squad of 3-4 senior engineers, balancing 50% hands-on technical work with 50% team leadership.
• Implement robust observability, monitoring, and safety guardrails to ensure reliable AI agent usage.
• Create APIs and SDKs that enable other product teams to build and operate agents according to platform standards.
• Design cross-language integrations between Python and Java to ensure seamless adoption within the backend ecosystem.

Requirements

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience with strong system design and platform-building expertise.
• Hands-on experience with agentic systems and frameworks such as LangChain, LangSmith, ADK, or similar.
• High proficiency in Python for building production-grade AI frameworks and services.
• Familiarity with Java and experience integrating backend platforms into Java-based systems.
• Strong understanding of AI evaluation methodologies, prompt evaluation, and quality monitoring.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid model in Tel Aviv.
