Applied Scientist, Personalization, Personalization (AI)

What you will do

• Build ML- and LLM-powered customer memory and personalization systems.
• Extract, curate, validate, and apply customer knowledge in production systems.
• Own end-to-end ML solution delivery, from problem formulation and modeling through experimentation and deployment.
• Develop capabilities for fact extraction, memory quality and lifecycle management, temporal reasoning, and grounded personalization.
• Balance precision, recall, latency, quality, and coverage at scale.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate research into measurable customer impact.

Requirements

• Knowledge of C/C++, Python, Java, or Perl.
• PhD, or a Master's degree with research experience, in computer science, computer engineering, machine learning, or a related field.
• Experience with patents or publications in top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience building and launching machine learning or deep learning models for business applications.
• Knowledge of big data and cloud technologies such as Spark and AWS.

Nice to have

• Experience with information retrieval, recommender systems, natural language processing, or personalization algorithms.
• Publications at leading Web, machine learning, or natural language processing conferences such as KDD, ICML, NeurIPS, ACL, or EMNLP.
