What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the system design and validation of new consumer products.
• Build test setups and explore new methods for system control.
• Support system engineering testing by troubleshooting and optimizing system-level performance with firmware and product designers.
• Develop prototypes and execute tests to drive design maturity for mass production.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering (completed or in progress).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and material selection for electro-mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (Nx preferred).
• Proficiency in various rapid prototyping methods.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice to have

• Experience with simulation tools such as FEA and thermal analysis.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis methods.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/DFA).
