What you will do

• Develop and produce compelling Original stories to expand hirify.global’s slate.
• Identify pop culture trends and develop series appealing to a broader, non-comic reading market.
• Identify and source artistic and writing talent for projects in development.
• Oversee the full production cycle from script adaptation and storyboards to final publication.
• Manage freelancer relationships and maintain series schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Design, PR, and Operations to strategize promotional efforts.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of producing and editing experience at a top-tier comic publisher or entertainment brand.
• Must be based in Los Angeles or El Segundo, California for hybrid work.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the hirify.global vertical-scroll storytelling structure.
• Expertise in Photoshop and/or Clip Studio.
• Proven track record of working with creatives from the pitch phase through to publication.
• Functional understanding of legal agreements and creator-owned/WFH frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with research and analytics tools, primarily Google Analytics.
