What you will do

• Design and implement robust firmware on MCU platforms for wireless connectivity, data upload, and OTA updates.
• Develop and optimize communication stacks for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to ensure reliable pairing and data exchange.
• Write efficient low-level code integrating hardware peripherals via GPIO, I2C, SPI, and UART.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug, test, and troubleshoot firmware for optimal performance and security.
• Contribute to deployment readiness for large-scale production systems.
• Review peer code to maintain high standards of style, accuracy, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in embedded systems.
• Strong expertise in C programming, memory management, and RTOS principles.
• Hands-on experience with connectivity modules (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) and FreeRTOS.
• Proficiency in hardware-software interfacing and using troubleshooting tools like debuggers and logic analyzers.
• Deep understanding of computer networking and firmware for data-intensive applications.
• Familiarity with version control, CI, and build systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with ESP32 microcontrollers.
• Working knowledge of cloud computing protocols like MQTT and AWS platforms.
• Experience with cellular connectivity.
