What you will do

• Develop high-performance firmware for bare-metal and embedded OS environments (FreeRTOS, Zephyr).
• Implement robust device-to-cloud communication using MQTT, CoAP, and HTTP.
• Manage wireless stacks including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Thread.
• Implement security features, including encryption, secure boot, and secure firmware updates.
• Develop custom tools for software, hardware, and QA teams.
• Diagnose and resolve complex firmware issues using logic analyzers, JTAG probes, and oscilloscopes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional firmware development with ARM Cortex-M or similar low-power platforms.
• Mastery of C programming, RTOS environments, and multithreaded programming.
• Deep understanding of communication standards: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and USB.
• Expert familiarity with Git-based workflows (Gerrit, GitHub).
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Location: Must be based in Woodinville, Washington

• Functional skills or interest in Java, Kotlin, Bash, or Python.
