TL;DR
Tax Manager - PCS (Tax): Manage tax compliance and consulting for Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) individuals and families with an accent on complex tax research, tax planning strategies, and minimizing federal, state, and local tax liability. Focus on supervising tax associates, delivering high-quality client engagements, and developing tax seniors and associates through review, coaching, and guidance.
Location: Hybrid (Santa Monica, CA / Las Vegas, NV / San Francisco Bay Area / Irvine, CA / Long Beach, CA). Candidates must be based in Southern California, the Bay Area, or Las Vegas.
Salary: $125,000 - $175,000 per year

What you will do
- Provide tax compliance and consulting for UHNW individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
- Oversee complex tax research and develop strategies to reduce federal, state, and local tax liability.
- Manage tax planning and compliance for trusts, estates, partnerships, and closely held businesses.
- Supervise tax associates and manage day-to-day delivery of tax consulting services.
- Develop and motivate tax seniors and associates through work review, counseling, leadership, and career guidance.
- Manage multiple engagements and deliver high-quality outputs on time.
Requirements
- Based in Southern California, the Bay Area, or Las Vegas.
- 4+ years of public accounting experience with an emphasis on tax.
- BS/BA in Accounting or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
- Licensed CPA or EA certification.
- Strong ability to research complex tax issues across a variety of entities and industries.
- Experience developing and training associate-level professionals; excellent communication and presentation skills.
