Location: New York, NY. Must be based in the office 5 days a week. Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $240,000–$300,000 + 15% target annual bonus

What you will do

• Lead the MLOps team's strategic direction and execution, crafting roadmaps and defining KPIs to achieve success criteria.
• Oversee the enablement of scalable solutions and "golden paths" to optimize the MLDLC for ML practitioners.
• Champion the adoption of ML best practices to drive the development of high-quality GenAI, LLM, and NLP products.
• Act as a force multiplier by removing roadblocks, implementing process improvements, and providing actionable feedback.
• Bridge the gap between business/product requirements and technical execution to deliver group-level objectives.
• Communicate complex technical content effectively to diverse audiences, from engineers to executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role managing globally distributed teams.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in ML algorithm development and deployment of ML services.
• 6+ years of experience supporting the entire MLDLC, including post-deployment monitoring and maintenance.
• Deep practical experience with AWS or GCP and containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency in Python, GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

Nice to have

• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, scikit-learn, Redis, or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with SageMaker, Vertex AI, Weights & Biases, FastAPI, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, MLflow, and KubeFlow.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience working across multiple development teams.
