Internal Auditor

TL;DR

Internal Auditor (Finance): Executing SOX compliance testing, operational and financial audits with an accent on internal control improvements across global business cycles. Focus on auditing FSCP, PTP, and OTC cycles and ensuring compliance with COSO, US GAAP, and IFRS.

Salary: $77,500 - $94,700 USD

What you will do

• Conduct walkthroughs of business cycles and update Risk and Control Matrices (RCMs).
• Perform SOX testing across cycles including FSCP, PTP, OTC, Inventory Management, Payroll, and Treasury.
• Execute key report testing and maintain comprehensive audit documentation.
• Prepare audit work papers and reports with findings and recommendations for operational and financial audits.
• Collaborate with global SOX teams in EMEA and APAC regions.
• Perform physical inventory and cycle counts to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in internal/external auditing and SOX compliance.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or CPG environment.
• Strong knowledge of COSO framework, US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX Sections 302 and 404.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Needham, MA office.
