Project Management Analyst

TL;DR

Project Management Analyst: Providing program and financial management analysis for government defense contracts with an accent on task tracking, financial reporting, and risk management. Focus on supporting Integrated Planning Teams (IPT) and ensuring project delivery alignment with DoD standards.

Location: Must be based in Charleston, SC (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Assist leadership in developing task books and implementing contract strategies.
• Collaborate with Business Financial Managers to monitor spending and financial constraints.
• Design project plans and track progress across cross-functional teams.
• Generate management status reports covering deliverables, schedules, and risks.
• Facilitate risk management programs and provide technical writing support for documentation.
• Foster transparent communication and collaboration within Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) efforts.

Requirements

• Five years of experience supporting project management initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Charleston, SC.

Nice to have

• Experience with Risk Exchange+, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
• Prior experience working with NIWC Atlantic or DoD environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field.
• Familiarity with PMBOK or Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
