What you will do

• Own the cloud infrastructure for the Remote Assist system, including specification, design, development, and performance optimization.
• Develop operator tooling and onboard components, such as the communications stack and video/data streaming technologies.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team of frontend, cloud, and robotics engineers on a single end-to-end product.
• Partner with tech leads, design, and fleet monitoring engineering teams to influence the total system architecture.
• Participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Must be a U.S. person or meet U.S. national security and citizenship requirements.
• Proficiency in Go and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (Postgres, Redis).
• Experience with message queue technologies (Kafka) and containerized solutions (Docker, Kubernetes).

Nice to have

• Experience with WebRTC and low-latency real-time streaming architecture.
• Proficiency with gRPC, Protobufs, TypeScript, and React.
• Development experience with C++.
• Previous work with AV or Robotics products.
