What you will do
- Lead the US-based Advanced Development robotics team, setting priorities and technical direction.
- Develop, prototype, and evaluate new robotic floorcare technologies and product concepts.
- Translate high-level innovation themes and consumer insights into concrete experiments and test plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources across Engineering, Product Development, Industrial Design, UX, Quality, and Manufacturing.
- Prepare technical documentation and demonstrations to support transitions into New Product Development.
- Partner with external technology collaborators and suppliers to support development work.
Requirements
- Strong background in systems engineering, robotics, automation, and/or electromechanical systems.
- Experience working on consumer products or mobile robotics within a fast-paced, global organization.
- Hands-on prototyping and experimentation mindset, comfortable with early-stage ambiguity.
- Ability to balance consumer insights with technical feasibility when shaping solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Position is based in Newton, Massachusetts.
