What you will do

• Design and implement robotics software in C/C++ for safe AV behavior and control.
• Lead team code quality activities, including design and code reviews.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define software and system requirements for autonomy subsystems.
• Collaborate with data scientists to implement KPIs and metrics for vehicle performance.
• Develop and execute unit, simulation, and on-vehicle tests in real-world scenarios.
• Diagnose and root-cause field issues reported by commercial operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or a strong mathematical/engineering field.
• 7+ years of industry experience with real-world robot systems, including at least two commercial projects.
• Expertise in behavior planning, path planning, prediction, machine learning, or trajectory generation.
• Proficiency in non-linear control methodologies (e.g., MPC, LQR, PID, optimal control).
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and experience in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with standard development tools such as git, valgrind, and gdb.

Nice to have

• Master's or PhD in Robotics, CS, or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with optimization techniques like QP or dynamics-aware approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior engineers.
