What you will do

• Define and build next-generation CPU networking architecture for both datacenter and emerging robotics/automotive applications.
• Specify and seed future medium- to low-power devices for AI/ML compute and sensor ingest.
• Work at the intersection of NoC, performance modeling, and RTL design to guide architectural decisions.
• Collaborate across hardware, software, and systems teams to refine networking requirements.
• Drive the development of networking architectures specifically optimized for AI/ML workloads.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Ethernet network architecture and performance modeling.
• Experience with die-to-die interfaces, associated protocols, and design tradeoffs.
• Deep understanding of Ethernet networking concepts and their mapping onto on-chip and off-chip fabrics.
• Experience with datacenter scale-up architectures (UALink, NVLink, Broadcom SUE) and scale-out RDMA protocols (RoCE, Infiniband).
• Experience with safety, diagnostic, and fault coverage within the RTL design process.
• Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology.
