Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 USD

What you will do
- Execute regulatory and legislative engagement strategies across North America, focusing on the eastern and central regions.
- Advocate for grid modernization, demand-side management, and transportation electrification to unlock the value of demand flexibility.
- Participate in integrated resource planning and VPP potential studies to promote demand-side resources in long-term grid planning.
- Represent the company as a thought leader in EV program design and educate regulators on the role of software and DERMS.
- Track national and state-level regulatory trends to inform internal product roadmap planning.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to create white papers and blog posts supporting policy positions.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree with 4-7 years of total work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience specifically within the energy sector.
- Strong familiarity with the electricity industry, utility business models, and the stakeholder landscape.
- Experience with federal and statewide electric vehicle initiatives and basic distribution system management.
- Proficiency in using Excel, Salesforce, Tableau, or similar tools for data analysis and visualization.
- Must be based in the United States; sponsorship for employment authorization is not available.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of experience in the energy and utilities industry.
- Deep knowledge of energy efficiency and demand-side management regulations.
- Experience participating in utility stakeholder proceedings or working groups.
- Proven track record of researching and analyzing the market impact of new policy implementations.
