What you will do

• Partner with product teams and stakeholders to scope and deliver scalable technical projects for clinical staff and patients.
• Oversee the design and development of maintainable software systems that are thoroughly tested, documented, and monitored.
• Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement through code reviews and coaching.
• Translate business needs into practical, high-impact technology solutions in collaboration with product and design teams.
• Supervise the creation and management of robust integrations between internal systems and third-party providers.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues quickly to ensure reliable service for patients and their families.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing or leading engineering teams in building and deploying production web applications.
• Proven track record of mentoring engineers and conducting thoughtful code reviews to drive career growth.
• Strong understanding of complex data integrations, APIs, and webhooks.
• Ability to architect systems that scale beyond current usage and make critical technical tradeoffs.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Proficiency in debugging production issues and experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience working in Healthcare Technologies.
• Experience leading projects involving AI/ML integrations.
• Familiarity with Golang, React, TypeScript, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
