What you will do

• Lead two engineering teams building the core services that power STT, TTS, and Voice Agent product lines.
• Recruit, hire, train, and mentor top engineering talent to build a world-class team.
• Define and own the technical strategy to ensure APIs remain best-in-class for scalability and reliability.
• Transform cross-functional visions into detailed project plans, managing commitments and risks.
• Partner with Product and Research teams to design and implement new services and features end-to-end.
• Promote a robust engineering culture with a focus on rigorous standards and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing, leading, and growing engineering teams.
• Strong technical background in software architecture and scalable implementation.
• Ability to drive complex technical decisions in a thoughtful and scalable manner.
• Passion for navigating the constraints of a startup, including rapid iteration and experimentation.
• Must be based in the USA

Nice to have

• Experience working in high-growth startups.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud models, including bare-metal datacenters and cloud providers.
• Deep experience with machine learning inference at scale.
