Office Manager

TL;DR

Office Manager (Legal): Overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient functioning across all departments within a law firm with an accent on implementing standardized workflows and managing vendor relationships. Focus on staff supervision, compliance, and serving as the communication bridge between staff and the Management Committee.

Location: Must be able to commute to Lewiston, Maine, Monday – Friday.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000

What you will do

• Oversee daily office operations and ensure smooth functioning across all departments.
• Implement and maintain standardized workflows for transactional and litigation practice areas.
• Manage vendor relationships (IT, copier, software, office supplies, etc.).
• Supervise staff performance, workload, and professional development, including recruitment, onboarding, and training.
• Ensure compliance with insurance, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the communication bridge between staff and the Management Committee.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related field (preferred).
• Ability to commute to Lewiston, Maine, Monday – Friday.
• Prior experience in law firm or other professional services management.
• Strong understanding of law firm operations, billing, and workflow.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with legal practice management software and office technology.
