Mechanical Applications Engineer (Logistics)

What you will do

• Support the full bid development process from RFP receipt through proposal submission, including writing technical Statements of Work.
• Lead material handling system design efforts to solve operational challenges and improve efficiency.
• Create and document the Basis of Design and Description of Operations to align mechanical designs with electrical controls.
• Provide technical leadership during the sales phase by presenting capabilities to clients.
• Collaborate with clients to develop weighted Selection Criteria Matrices for optimal solution selection.
• Transition awarded projects to execution teams to ensure successful handoff and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of related professional experience.
• Proficiency in automation layout and design using AutoCAD 2D and Navisworks.
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD modeling and drafting.
• Current US work authorization is required (no sponsorship available).
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
