What you will do

• Design and execute packaging from initial prototypes to mass production using sustainable materials.
• Define the unboxing experience to create a seamless physical-to-digital flow from purchase to setup.
• Utilize 2D and 3D CAD to design and document all parts and assemblies.
• Collaborate with hardware, operations, and marketing teams to ensure designs meet business goals.
• Partner with external manufacturing teams to optimize for aesthetics, function, and manufacturability.
• Build and test physical prototypes to validate performance and functionality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Packaging Design, or Graphic Design.
• 5+ years of related industry experience.
• Proven experience with 3D CAD modeling and the full design cycle up to mass production.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Ability to travel to support the successful production of design intent.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer electronics, toys, or family-oriented products.
• Knowledge of sustainable packaging practices and materials.
• Experience designing for retail environments, including big box and DTC.
