Project Manager

TL;DR

Project Manager: Facilitating the introduction of new products into a contract manufacturer in Asia, ensuring readiness from NPI through HVM. Focus on coordinating internal and external resources, integrating operations and supply line management, and resolving complex issues within various engineering and manufacturing functions.

Location: Must be local to Bayan Lepas, Malaysia. Relocation is not provided. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Facilitate the introduction of new products into the contract manufacturer, working with US counterparts.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure overall readiness of NPI through HVM.
• Integrate operations, supply line management, and support groups in project execution.
• Address complex issues within operations, engineering, and manufacturing.
• Lead communications throughout the organization, raising key issues and options for resolution.
• Track and drive corrective and preventive actions, creating new processes/procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant major.
• Experience in operations and/or project management with product development in the high technology industry.
• Experience managing team elements in multiple geographic locations.
• Mature with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Background in Operations working closely with Asia contract manufacturers on production setup and operational issues.
• Experience in NPI and supply chain is a must.
