TL;DR

Director of IT: Overseeing and managing the company's Dev Ops and IT strategy with an accent on networking, infrastructure management, AWS cloud services, and cybersecurity. Focus on maintaining and enhancing IT systems to support business operations and growth, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency.

Location: Menlo Park, CA or Union City, CA. This is a hybrid position (onsite 2-3 days per week).

What you will do

• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company's scaling goals.
• Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Ensure IT security measures are in place and regularly updated to protect against data breaches and cyber threats.
• Lead IT projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Oversee the IT support function to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and maintain a high standard of service satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Extensive experience with networking technologies, infrastructure management, and AWS cloud services.
• Experience with IT security protocols and compliance standards, SOC 2 preferred.
