Lead Network Engineer (Cloud)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Lead design and engineering of enterprise network infrastructure, including WAN, LAN, DNS, wireless, and cloud networking.
• Engineer and implement network solutions across CISA facilities and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
• Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network incidents.
• Develop and implement network Change Requests (CRs) and configuration management processes.
• Conduct hardware/software testing and validate system performance before production deployment.
• Implement network security controls in accordance with DHS policies and NIST standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in network engineering and design for large-scale environments.
• U.S. citizenship required for the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• Must be based in Arlington, VA to support on-site operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot or an approved equivalent AI solution.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud networking.
• Familiarity with DHS/CISA network environments and security requirements.
• Relevant technical certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP.
