Vp, Portfolio Manager Iii (Fintech): Managing an assigned commercial loan portfolio, including loan renewals, extensions, and modifications with an accent on credit underwriting, evaluation, and loan structuring. Focus on managing high-risk loans, remediation, collection, and liquidation of non-performing loans.

Location: Hybrid role based in Reston, VA, with office presence required Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Remote work is allowed on Wednesdays.

What you will do

• Conduct financial analysis and research to underwrite loan renewals, extensions, and modifications.
• Collect and maintain required documentation as per policy.
• Review current portfolio clients' loans, financials, and business information to assess risk.
• Establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers in partnership with the Relationship Manager Team.
• Identify and recommend opportunities to cross-sell additional loan and non-credit products.
• Ensure loan terms and conditions adhere to credit policy and compliance with laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in a commercial lending environment with proven experience in credit evaluation, portfolio risk assessment, and/or special assets.
• Thorough knowledge of commercial lending processes, credit evaluation, and underwriting.
• Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Detailed knowledge of credit and financial analysis tools and techniques.
• Ability to travel within a defined market area.
