TL;DR

Inside Sales Development Manager (Events): Leading a team of 5 BDRs and driving events and MICE growth across hirify.global's existing client base with an accent on coaching live deals and setting the standard for account development. Focus on team's commercial performance, culture, and development, ensuring every BDR is hitting their potential and contributing to hirify.global's Events revenue growth.

Location: Hybrid in Barcelona, must be based within commuting distance of hirify.global's hubs. Relocation support is available.

What you will do

  • Lead, manage, and inspire a team of 5 Events & MICE BDRs, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and performance conversations.
  • Onboard new inside sales development representatives effectively.
  • Actively support BDRs on complex accounts, joining discovery calls and client meetings.
  • Own the Inside sales team's use of CRM, ensuring data integrity and accurate forecasting.
  • Continuously refine outreach frameworks and proposal templates to improve team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years' experience in a sales or business development role within SaaS, travel technology, or the broader travel and hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of leading a team to hit and exceed collective revenue targets.
  • Strong grasp of B2B solution selling within a short sales cycle.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and in video/presentation settings.
  • Experience working with European and/or North American corporate markets.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken, to a professional business standard.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Gong).
  • Must have the legal right to work in the applicable location

Nice to have

  • Understanding of the MICE landscape.
  • Prior experience within a corporate TMC, events agency, or managed events environment.
  • Experience building or scaling a BDR function from a small team upwards.
