What you will do

• Execute accurate and efficient biweekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles, including deductions, taxes, and garnishments.
• Manage weekly payroll reporting, including hours calculation, punch exception resolution, and staffing agency invoice approvals.
• Collaborate with finance teams to secure cash requirements and resolve general ledger exceptions.
• Partner with HR leadership to conduct market compensation research and present data analysis reports.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and leadership regarding payroll deductions, overtime, and tax-related inquiries.
• Coordinate with HRIS vendors to ensure accurate remittance of federal, state, and local taxes.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of multi-state payroll processing and tax remittance experience
• Proficiency with web-based HRIS/payroll platforms
• Associate degree in HR, Accounting, or Finance or equivalent experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively in a US-based remote environment

Nice to have

• 5–7 years of multi-state payroll experience
• Experience with UKG HRIS/payroll platform
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, or Finance
