What you will do

• Process biweekly US payroll in Workday, validating earnings, deductions, taxes, and garnishments.
• Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for multi-state payroll processing.
• Manage year-end reporting (W-2s) and support internal and external payroll audits.
• Troubleshoot payroll errors and maintain data integration between Workday and ADP.
• Develop and maintain payroll reports and calculated fields to analyze variances.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve payroll process efficiency.

Requirements

• Must live within commuting distance of LA, NYC, or SF hubs.
• 5-7+ years of experience in US payroll processing.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Payroll.
• Deep expertise in multi-state payroll and US tax regulations.
• Proficiency with payroll audits, reconciliations, and advanced Excel.
• Experience with ADP SmartCompliance.
