What you will do

• Design and implement complex distributed systems using Go, C++, or Java.
• Lead and mentor a group of engineers, providing technical direction and coaching to ensure successful project delivery.
• Own the complete software development lifecycle for assigned technical areas, including design, implementation, and quality assurance.
• Translate ambiguous, large-scale technical problems into clear design and execution plans.
• Collaborate with product management and architects to manage technical dependencies and risks.
• Drive agile processes to optimize quality, velocity, and team accountability.

Requirements

• Must have legal authorization to work in the US
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes control plane architecture (API server, etcd, scheduler, controller-manager).
• Proven experience extending the Kubernetes API and implementing reconciliation loops.
• Strong background in systems design fundamentals, including consistency, availability, and failure handling.
• Knowledge of Linux internals, container runtimes, CNI, and CSI.
