hirify.global is developing a PostgreSQL-compatible distributed database designed for high-scale, cloud-native enterprise applications.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable, fault-tolerant components for managing distributed hirify.globalDB clusters.
• Translate product requirements into automated Control Plane workflows.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality releases.
• Review code and mentor junior engineers to improve engineering best practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies in distributed systems and the Kubernetes ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of backend software development experience with strong proficiency in Java and Go.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud container orchestration platforms.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Valid US work authorization required (no new H-1B sponsorships available).
