TL;DR

Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote-first)

Salary: $129,000–$185,000 (US-based pay zones)

What you will do

  • Oversee end-to-end global payroll processing for international entities including Australia, Canada, Ireland, and the UK.
  • Lead year-end reporting, external audits, and internal SOX compliance controls.
  • Manage vendor relationships and workflows using ADP Celergo, ActivPayroll, and Workday.
  • Partner with HR and Finance on benefits administration, LOAs, and month-end close processes.
  • Prepare and review complex payroll journal entries, accruals, and labor cost variance analyses.
  • Act as a primary escalation point for complex employee payroll inquiries.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of total payroll experience
  • 3+ years of international payroll processing experience
  • Proficiency in Workday, NetSuite, ADP, and ActivPayroll
  • Expert-level Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
  • Must have valid right to work authorization in the US
  • Strong understanding of accounting reconciliations and SOX compliance

Nice to have

  • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or equivalent certification
  • Experience applying AI tools to payroll workflows
