What you will do

• Own and execute thermal CFD analysis for the Kaleidos reactor systems.
• Model turbulent flow, heat transfer, and multi-physics interactions using industry-standard codes.
• Establish and implement best practices for CFD simulations.
• Develop automated workflows to improve simulation efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support reduced-order analysis methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• 5+ years experience with commercial CFD software such as STAR-CCM+ or Ansys Fluent.
• Proficiency in CAD software, specifically Siemens NX.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship and comply with U.S. export controls.

Nice to have

• Radiation heat transport modeling experience.
• Knowledge of nuclear reactor design.
