Salary: $139,500 – $224,700

What you will do

• Execute thermal CFD analysis to evaluate design and performance of reactor systems.
• Develop multi-physics models covering turbulent flow and heat transfer.
• Implement and maintain best practices for CFD simulations.
• Build automated workflows to enhance simulation accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support reduced-order analysis method design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience with STAR-CCM+, Ansys Fluent, or similar CFD code.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX CAD software.
• Must work 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA.
• Must be able to serve in compliance with U.S. export controls; no visa sponsorship provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with radiation heat transport modeling.
• Background in nuclear reactor design.
