What you will do

• Own and execute thermal CFD analysis for the design and performance evaluation of reactor systems.
• Develop and implement simulation models for turbulent flow, heat transfer, and multi-physics interactions.
• Establish CFD simulation best practices to ensure high-fidelity results.
• Build automated workflows to improve the accuracy and efficiency of simulation capabilities.
• Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams to design reduced-order analysis methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience with commercial CFD software like STAR-CCM+ or Ansys Fluent.
• Proficiency with CAD software, specifically Siemens NX.
• Mastery of finite element and computational fluid dynamics principles.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA; no visa sponsorship provided.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of nuclear reactor design.
• Experience with radiation heat transport modeling.
