What you will do

  • Manage daily bookkeeping operations including journal entries and account maintenance.
  • Navigate and utilize QuickBooks for accounting functions and client record management.
  • Execute specialized projects such as tax return preparation and audit support.
  • Utilize Go High Level CRM and Google Workspace for task management and operations.
  • Support data migration initiatives and streamline financial transitions between software platforms.
  • Collaborate directly with the business owner on scaling operations and client-facing tasks.

Requirements

  • Strong accounting foundation with knowledge of fundamental accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online.
  • Advanced skills in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Forms).
  • Must be able to work during Lakeland, FL (EST) business hours.
  • Experience with project management software and CRM systems.
  • Excellent organizational and deadline management abilities.

Nice to have

  • 3-5 years of direct bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Experience with dynamic project-based accounting work.
