TL;DR

Bookkeeper and Administrative Coordinator (Finance/Admin): Managing financial records, invoicing, and contractor payments with an accent on bookkeeping accuracy and administrative organization. Focus on streamlining payment processes via Stripe and Wise, managing contractor documentation, and supporting US-based business operations.

Location: Remote (Must be based in Latin America). Availability required during at least 2 hours/day in US Eastern Time (ET)

What you will do

  • Track income and expenses, categorize transactions, and maintain accurate financial records in Google Sheets or accounting software.
  • Manage client billing and subscriptions via Stripe, including preparing invoices and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Process contractor payments using platforms such as Wise and Payoneer.
  • Organize contractor documentation and maintain detailed records within the CRM and spreadsheets.
  • Facilitate contractor onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring payment accounts are ready.
  • Generate basic financial reports and assist with budgeting and vendor payment tracking.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative support.
  • Must be based in Latin America.
  • Availability of at least 2 hours/day during US Eastern Time (ET).
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and familiarity with Slack, Stripe, Gmail, and Excel.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle financial data with confidentiality.

Nice to have

  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting tools.
  • Experience working with US-based companies.
  • Familiarity with Grammarly or professional communication tools.
