Salary: $85,000–$105,000 Annually

What you will do

• Collaborate with Design Engineers to develop conceptual designs for aerospace platforms.
• Prepare complex layouts, schematics, detail drawings, and parts lists for prototype and production release.
• Perform redesigns and repackaging of products based on component and hardware sizing.
• Execute engineering calculations related to sizing, performance, tolerance, and assembly.
• Verify the work of junior drafting personnel for accuracy and compliance with aerospace standards.
• Coordinate with production to resolve manufacturing issues and develop control configurations.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required for access to export-controlled information.
• 8+ years of related design experience.
• Minimum of a two-year Engineering/Technical degree.
• Extensive experience in high-performance, high-density packaging design.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and drafting standards.

Nice to have

• Competency in Model Based Definition (MBD) and Siemens NX.
• Experience directing and mentoring junior drafting personnel.
• Experience with aerospace design standards and vendor coordination.
