What you will do

• Solve research problems in 3D dynamic scene reconstruction and synthesis using generative models.
• Scale and adapt 3D Gaussian Splatting and other ML reconstruction methods for AV simulation.
• Prototype research ideas using internal driving data.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize simulation solutions.
• Present and potentially publish findings to internal and external research communities.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, ML, or similar discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in a related field.
• In-depth expertise with 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) and/or other learning-based 3D reconstruction methods.
• Experience with generative image/video/world models.
• Strong ML software engineering skills in Python for rapid prototyping.
• Familiarity with major ML frameworks such as JAX, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

Nice to have

• Publications at top-tier conferences like CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR, ICML, NeurIPS, IROS, or CoRL.
• Hands-on experience productionizing and scaling ML solutions.
• Strong fundamentals in 3D vision and/or computer graphics.
• Domain experience in the autonomous vehicle or simulation space.
