What you will do

• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce manufacturing defects.
• Develop and execute cost reduction strategies by optimizing material usage and production techniques.
• Manage supplier quality and maintain strong relationships with contract manufacturers (CM).
• Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and laws.
• Investigate quality issues through root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably within the battery energy storage industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in quality control methodologies and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional internal teams.
• Must be based in or able to work in Shenzhen or Shanghai, China.

Nice to have

• Experience working directly with contract manufacturers.
• Specific knowledge of enclosure fabrication for battery energy storage systems.
• Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
