What you will do

• Manage internal reporting and monthly booking of commercial insurance premiums for company financials.
• Reconcile premium data with brokers using analytical techniques and specialized company software.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contracted program brokers to oversee monthly data collection.
• Utilize advanced Excel tools, including pivot tables and matching formulas, to identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
• Prepare underwriting portfolio summary reports using graphs and visuals to illustrate performance metrics.
• Collaborate with the underwriting team to evaluate new program opportunities and processing requirements.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Toronto, Canada
• 1 to 3 years of experience in commercial casualty and property insurance or financial transaction processing.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Ability to automate data processes and troubleshoot formula errors to ensure data integrity.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• CIP designation or actively working towards completion of CIP courses.
