Salary: $140,800 - $211,200 USD

What you will do

• Plan, direct, and implement the design and development of new medical device products or software systems.
• Oversee the investigation of existing technologies and guide the conceptualization of new methodologies and processes.
• Direct the development of new concepts from initial design through to market release.
• Manage feasibility studies to determine if designs are capable of functioning as intended.
• Coordinate activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery.
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operational performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 8 years.
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
• Experience leading high-performing teams within fast-paced medical device environments.
• Proven ability to align engineering initiatives with business objectives and navigate regulatory landscapes.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO standards for medical devices.
• Demonstrated ability to positively influence strategies and outcomes.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring talent.
