What you will do

• Process accounts payable transactions and review invoices for accuracy and proper coding.
• Support the preparation and submission of donor invoices and track receivables.
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation and financial data validation.
• Maintain grant and contract budgets in financial systems and verify coding accuracy.
• Provide operational finance support to assigned local offices and HQ finance teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial operations.
• Experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial data entry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial/accounting systems.
• Must be located within commuting distance of a local IRC office.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting grant or project-based financial management.
• Experience working in nonprofit organizations and/or donor-funded environments.
