Location: Remote, but must be based in the US Midwest with the ability to travel.

Salary: $316,200 - $409,200 (OTE)

What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Account Managers targeting SLED accounts.
  • Drive execution in a channel-led selling motion, partnering with resellers and distributors.
  • Manage sales operating cadence, including pipeline reviews, forecast accuracy, and deal inspection.
  • Build territory and account plans aligned with public sector procurement cycles and fiscal calendars.
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering to define technical strategies and effective customer engagement.
  • Recruit and onboard sales talent to build a high-performance team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in B2B technology sales with 3+ years of front-line leadership experience.
  • Must be based in the US Midwest.
  • Experience selling into State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) customers.
  • Background in infrastructure sales, storage, data management, or cloud infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of managing a channel-centric sales motion and growing mid-market territories.
  • Proficiency in MEDDICC, Command of the Message, or similar enterprise sales methodologies.
