What you will do

• Serve as the primary contact for all Environmental, Health and Safety related topics within the facility.
• Lead and facilitate incident investigations, ensuring quality reporting and follow-up.
• Perform EHS assessments for business unit projects and changes.
• Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits, such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Conduct ergonomic, chemical, and biosafety risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
• Develop and execute a multi-year EHS strategy and plan for the business unit.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of operations experience in a biotechnology or biopharmaceutical industry environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety (e.g., HVK, industrial hygiene or equivalent).
• English: Required; Dutch: Preferred.
• Location: Must be based in the Netherlands.
• Ability to work independently and establish high-trust environments with client counterparts.
