What you will do

• Develop and own control and data plane services, including APIs and SDKs for platform consumption.
• Implement distributed state management, storage systems, and workload orchestration across multiple regions.
• Engineer infrastructure for high-throughput workloads and distributed data flows for AI/ML training and inference.
• Drive technical decisions and champion engineering best practices for reliability, testing, and CI/CD.
• Manage the operational health of production systems via observability, performance optimization, and incident response.
• Create novel platform capabilities leveraging cloud-native technologies and AI.

Requirements

• Extensive experience designing and operating scalable production systems on major cloud providers (AWS, GCP).
• Proven track record of delivering multi-service distributed systems from ambiguous requirements to production.
• Strong proficiency with typed languages, primarily Go, with familiarity in Rust and Python.
• Integration of AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) into the core development workflow to multiply productivity.
• Experience in day 2 operations, including monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization at scale.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Pulumi, and message queues (NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of GPU orchestration and workload scheduling for AI/ML inference and training.
• Contributions to open-source projects within the cloud-native ecosystem.
• Ability to contribute to the frontend to accelerate delivery when needed.
