What you will do

• Review loan files before submission or after underwriting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate regularly with borrowers and sales partners to provide updates and request documentation.
• Verify that all documentation meets regulatory and product-specific requirements prior to final approval.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and resolve discrepancies to prevent process delays.
• Address escalated issues related to income, assets, credit, and title through internal and external collaboration.
• Manage closing details, perform final quality checks, and respond to post-closing audits.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and 3+ years of directly related experience in mortgage loan processing.
• Advanced knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines and regulations (RESPA, Reg B, HMDA, FHA, VA, Conventional, etc.).
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan underwriting criteria and compliance guidelines.
• Proficiency in loan origination systems and document management platforms.
• Ability to type 50-60 wpm.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
